  • The PETRONAS LNG Complex is the World's largest LNG plant in a single location. Next to it is the Shell Middle Distillate Synthesis (Shell-MDS) the world's first commercial Gas to Liquid plant
  • LNG is a term given to natural gas in liquid form. Natural gas is liquefied as the it can reduce the volume required to store the natural gas. (1/600) of its volume. This mean that more natural gas can be store and convenience for transportation whereby transportation via pipeline is not economical.
