Dr. Burrit was a Huntsville doctor in the 1940's. He maintained a goat farm here to provide milk for babies that were allergic to other milk. This mark shows a cave next to the main house, that was used to store the milk in to keep it cool. The caretaker for Dr. Burrit killed all the male goats, except a few for breeding purposes, and the female goats that gave little or no milk.
