Estate home designed c. 1921 by Robert McGoodwin in the Tudor Revival style for Samuel B Rotan, a dedicated Anglophile, constructed replica of an authentic village. The manor house, which is modeled after Sutton Place in England, contains original rooms and materials brought over from England. The Living Room was once host to Queen Elizabeth I and the Library is where Alexander Pope penned his essay on man.

The estate has been a popular filming location for movie productions including "Mannequin", "Shadowboxer", and "Paranoia".
