The name of our village is Rashaki. We live in the village since my childhood.It is the union council of tehsil shabqadar distt: charsadda .it is include in the constituency of NA no 8 And provincial constituency (KPK) no 22. Its boundaries are attached (joined) with
Dalazak ,naurani ,malook kor and pir qilla.main kalay ,naurani ,pir qilla and sro killi are include in the union council rashaki .it is situated on the bank of river Kabul.it is at a distance of 30 km from the provincial capital at Peshawar.it is one and a half km off from the main roads ,the road which leads from shabqadar to michini.
There are green fields in this village .they have made our village very charming. its lands are very fertile. Wheat, maize and different kinds of vegetables are grown here.People keep different kinds of animals in their home.
The people of my village are farmers by profession .but most of the people do different jobs in foreign countries, especially in the gulf and middle east countries.They lead a very happy and contented life .Its people are religious minded.
There are twenty (20) mosques, six (6) madrasa for Hif-zul Quran(boys) And one madrassa-tul Banat (Girls).
Its population is more than Five thousand. Its streets are wide, neat and clean but some are dirty and full of slime. It has no proper drainage system.Most of its houses are airy and well lighted. All the houses are flat, roofed and some are built of bricks but entirely made of muds or mud bricks.
There are four (04) barbers’ shops in the village which is packed with the people all the time.There is a basic health unit on the entering edge of the village.A well-metaled road leads to this village.
The beautiful scenery of river Kabul ,on summer evening is very pleaseurable / heart catching.
I am really proud of my village.
