 apartment building, commercial building

5-story residential/commercial building originally completed in the late 1800s as a rowhouse together with the two buildings to the east. A 2-story commercial storefront was added in 1924, which extends to the building line, while the upper floors are set back. The storefront has end piers of brown brick; the ground floor has a plate-glass show-window on the left, and two doors on the right, while the 2nd floor has a wide tripartite window. Both floors are topped by signage, including a vertical sign mounted at the left side of the top of the 2nd floor, which extends partly up the 3rd floor.

The recessed upper floors, only two bays wide, are faced in grey-painted brownstone. A white iron railing front the 3rd floor, which has rounded pediments above the windows. The 4th floor has segmental-arched windows, and the top floors has square-headed windows; they all have full surrounds with bracketed sills. The facade is crowned by a bracketed black metal roof cornice. The ground floor is occupied by Silky Kitchen, with Cohen Barber Shop on the 2nd floor.
