In September 1994 while I was still in the Navy, I spent a couple weeks working on a US Navy project at the Navy Marine Corps Reserve Center. One day at lunch I took a hike and ended up at this site, which was already long abandoned at this point in time. There was a long piece of rigid coaxial line running between the two ends of the site, and the small building at the South end was open, but I couldn't tell what the site may have been. I believe this was all US Navy property.

  • I believe this is a Long Scope Laser Stressmeter owned by UCSD. It measures the deformation of the earth. I don't think it's being used though.
