This gas station survived the freeway expansion. Later on (2013) it demolished its old Tiger Mart convenience store for more parking and adding a new Timewise store. This replaced part of National Tree & Shrub, which itself replaced some food establishments that didn't survive the expansion. Particularly, the Exxon is now on most of the lot that had the original McDonald's restaurant here.
