  • Balasore Public School was started by Col Jaitley and my father Major Parkash Singh in 1960. My sister and brother and the Jaitley children were the first students in this school.In 1960, when the school went up to grade 4 only. I was 12 then, too old for this school. So, I had to go to Stewart School in Cuttack.
