'The tamer of bull' is a statue of Léon Mignon.
The nakedness of his tamer caused a scandal and the lightning of the Catholic press in its return to Liège, various underpants and leaf of grapevines were added to him.
Since then, the liégeois students made their mascot bull, it was even hidden during the Second World war in the cellars of the university of Liège.
It is celebrated always during the Saint Nicholas Day of the students and Saint-Torè today.
Every year the students repaint the testicles of the bull in red.
