It is believed that it was formerly used as a Royal Ladies Resort or a Mahal and then as the Hunting Lodge or Royal Shikargah by Jahangir. This was built in 1605-19 and now it is in ruinous condition. It was previously under the Church Missionary Society but now the Archeology Department of India looks after it
