Wycombe was a local government district in Buckinghamshire in south central England. It was administered by Wycombe District Council in the town of High Wycombe. The district was formed on 1 April 1974 under the Local Government Act 1972. It was a merger of the borough of High Wycombe, Marlow Urban District and Wycombe Rural District.
