  • numeri is spelled nameri
  • This river, the Bhoreli, together with the next catchment up, the Subansiri, have been famous mahseer fishing rivers for many years. Further upstream at the Bramhaputra headwaters the Siang, Debang and Lohit meet. These are also immense rivers with lots of unexplored angling opportunities.

  • I trieed this before but somehow it gets interrupted. If ish Mahaseer every year in river cauvry at Galibore. on 26and 27th of January I will try my luck here. This year I caught one 56 pounder, one spanish chap got one 95 pounder. I don't think fish will be as big here. I will see.
  • Hi Mallinath, I live about 100km from you in the UK. Fish will not be so big as 95lb here, but scenery will be stunning and location is truly wild and remote. I would rather catch a 50lb mahseer from this place than a 95lb mahseer from the cauvery. Enjoy your trip
  • Hi Andy I wonder where you live! No doubt nameri is beautiful so is Galibore, Bhimeswari and Dudhamakali camps by the river Cauvry and there is nobody arond you. There are no village around. If you are really interested in Mahseer fishing youy must go there. If you need any information please let me know. Malli
