290-foot, 22-story International-style office building completed in 1962. Designed by Emery Roth & Sons, it is clad in silver metal and black and dark-tinted glass. Most of the ground floor is lined with storefronts, and has a double-height main entrance at the north half of the west facade, on the avenue. It has two sets of revolving glass doors flanked by regular doors, recessed in a 2-story polished pink granite frame, and topped by glass infill. There is a loading dock and service entrance at the middle of the south facade on 46th Street.

The west half of the south facade juts out farther than the west half, for the width of one window. The upper floors have silver metal spandrel panels between floors, that are angled back at the tops. The windows are divided by thin, black metal mullions that extend down into the angled tops of the spandrels. Except for a small 3-window-wide section near the center, the east half of the south facade sets back above the 7th floor, with additional setbacks above the 9th, 11th, 13th, 15th, and 19th floors. There is also a short setback at the east end below the main roof line. The west half of the south facade, along with the full west facade, has setbacks above the 13th, 15th, 19th, and 21st floors.

The north elevation is faced in white brick, with three bands of windows at the west end; the first band has three windows, and the other two have four. The ground floor is occupied by a T-Mobile wireless store, and Chick-Fil-A restaurant.
