The owners of the Art and Invention Gallery and the Five Points Collaborative (ie. The Idea Hatchery), Bret and Meg McFadyen, originally founded I Dream of Weenie, a (stationary) food truck (read: food VW van) serving hotdogs cooked over a mesquite charcoal grill. After the McFadyens sold it in 2011, it was moved around the corner to its present location. The menu remained the same, though now, each day features a bonus specialty dog, and Sundays bring a selection of breakfast-inspired hotdogs (and though I was skeptical, they're delicious!).
