Bullskin

Bullskin is a former community located on the north banks of Cow Creek. It was named because of the bullskin hides that resident, George Jackson, left out to dry on his property fence. The town started in the 1870s and contained a hotel, a general store and a furniture factory. The town was abandoned by 1881.
