Land that was used for the BC Electric Company and industrial use. Today the land is so contaminated by industrial pollutants that nothing can survive. Both Transport Canada and BC Hydro have teamed up to clean it. As of 2012 a temporary Dam is to be built and water will be pumped out so as to clean the soil in the bay. The land will be sold to the first nation who originally called this home before the Europeans arrived.
