Originally part of the Kentucky State Fairgrounds, it became a racetrack in 1956 when
the fair was relocated to the Exposition Center.
Also known as the Fairgrounds Speedway Trotting Track and the Commonwealth Race Course.
Listed on many maps as an actual park, it never was.
