330 kV Switchyard

Designed to transmit power from Units 1 and 2 of the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant to the power grid, as well as provide backup power supply for auxiliary needs of Units 2-4.

The OSG 330 kV is connected to:
OSG 110 kV through two autotransformers 330/110 kV.
OSG 750 kV through two autotransformers 750/330 kV.

Turbogenerators Nos. 1-4 of Units 1 and 2 are connected to OSG 330 kV through four block transformers 330/20 kV, one for each generator.

Connection to the power grid is established via four overhead transmission lines (OTL) 330 kV:
OTL 330 kV Chernobyl NPP — Lesnaya substation.
OTL 330 kV Chernobyl NPP — Mozyr substation.
OTL 330 kV Chernobyl NPP — Severnaya substation.
OTL 330 kV Chernobyl NPP — Slavutich substation.
