  • The caption says the facility wasn't used because the fuel rods are the wrong size. How can that be? How could they build four reactors and be in the process of building two more reactors, then build a spent fuel plant for the wrong sized rods?
  • there is not conspiracy. maybe it is meant to be processing pieces of other reactor fuel, or perhaps damaged reactor's fuel, and please don't insult my country by saying things like conspiracy.
  • Powolniak, your information must be incorrect, the only workers there as of the present are inspection and decontamination based.
  • Apparently they're planning to use the area around Chernobyl for storing nuclear waste from other plants, so they may start using this processing plant.
  • Im guessing CNPP will eventuallly feature a big sarchaphagus collapse and when that happens its a 2nd fallout due to all the radioactive and irradiated dust, and other stuff inside the plant being spread out due to the collapse and when that happens it will be ALOT worse than the 1st Disaster
  • The whole exclusion zone is just a big waste dump now anyway, so they may as well use it for its intended purpose.
