The hut is located at 1,260 m a.s.l. in the area of Chobanski Egrek.
It has 24 beds in rooms with 2, 3, 4, 6 and 8 beds. It is electrified with a unit and is supplied with water. It is heated by solid fuel stoves. There is a tourist kitchen, dining room and utensils.
It is managed by the "Vasil Levski" Tourist Association, Karlovo Town.
