Avon Microlight Club

The Avon Microlight Club was formed back in 1982, making the Club one of the oldest in the country. Then its founder ran the Club as a business. In 1991 the Avon Microlight Club as we know it today was formed. Whether you are an absolute beginner wanting to fly or a qualified pilot who just loves flying around, the Avon Microlight Club has something to offer you.

Freedom Sports Aviation

Learn to fly a microlight with Freedom Sports Aviation. We provide tuition on both fixed and flexwing microlight aircraft at Long Marston Airfield (photo), just 5 miles from Stratford upon Avon and 11 miles from the M40, junction 15. With both tarmac and grass runways we are able to fly and gain experience taking off and landing on different surfaces - ideal for microlight pilot training.
