Home of the Electrical and Computer Engineering programs. Barton Hall was built in 1961-62 to accommodate the Radiation Laboratory, a branch of the University that did research for the U.S. Air Force. It was named for Carlyle Barton, chairman of the University's Board of Trustees from 1941 to 1958.
