LORD SIVA AND MAHAVISHNU are the deities but prominence is for Siva.
This temple has a very peculiar custom during the days of Shivarathri Pinda arpanam. Here the relatives are required to give a bowl of rice instead of pinda arpana ritual. Any one can take a ticket for this purpose in the temple on that particular day by giving the name and Nakshtra of the deceased and rest of the rituals will be done by the priest himself.
