Original alignment for the South Pennsylvania Railroad, which was abandoned and never completed. This segment was used for the Pittsburgh, Westmoreland and Somerset Railroad which ran from Somerset to Ligonier, which made it the only area of the railroad right of way to be used by an active railroad.
