The merchant Ilie Floasiu (born 1888 in Gales village) bought the building from Karoline Seiverth after the First World War and opened on October 5th 1920 the drapery and colonial store. In the interwar period, this was the largest Romanian store from Transylvania!
During World War 1 will be one of the first Romanian-born businessman who opens his shop in the old fortress(Hermannstadt).
