Schulen is a sub-municipality of Herk-de-Stad in the Belgian province of Limburg. Schulen is located on the Demer and Herk. In 1971, the municipality of Berbroek was added to Schulen, which was completely incorporated into Herk-de-Stad on January 1, 1977. Before this addition, Schulen had the postal number 3912. Schulen (with Berbroek) then had an area of 16.88 km² and had 3544 inhabitants.
