This is the beginning of "Trakia" motorway, that should connect Sofia with Black sea town of Burgas via Southern Bulgaria. "Trakia" also include Northern part of Sofia Ring road, as well as Sofia-Kalotina motorway. In the National road numeration list of Bulgaria, this motorway is designate as A1. Total length of the motorway will be 443km.
