A small hillock used as emplacement for cannons by the rebel chief Mat Salleh. The guns are used to shoot towards Kampung Sunsuron whose settlers refused to acknowledge Mat Salleh as the overlord of the KadazanDusun BunduLiwan subtribes. The name 'Kinabaan' means 'the fall' refering to Mat Salleh's final defeat and death in the fort built on top of this hill. Archeological dig may reveal artifacts or even the cannons.
