This house is maintained as a hostel for touring cyclists who pass on the Trans-America Bicycle Trail (route 76). Starting in 1976 June Curry offered water and cookies to passing bikers. Her hospitality grew to offering shelter to the travelers. A bike club has started helping her as she ages.
