Amtrak, Carolinian, train station
Baltimore Pennsylvania Station is on Amtrak's Northeast Corridor, and a large number of passenger trains use this station. The station--then named Union Station--opened on 15 Sep, 1911 to a design by McKim, Mead & White with Kenneth M. Murchison. Structural elements were provided from the Guastavino Fireproof Tile Co. At its peak, it served 200 trains per day.
