The church was used as the filming location of the fictional 'Two Pines Wedding Chapel', in the 2003/04 Quentin Tarantino films Kill Bill Vol. 1 & 2.

It was used when the four Deadly Vipers (Michael Madsen, Lucy Liu, Vivica A. Fox and Daryl Hannah), arrive at the El Paso wedding chapel during the wedding rehearsal, and massacre everyone at the chapel. The Bride (Uma Thurman) attempts to tell her would-be killer, Bill (David Carradine), that the baby is his, but he shoots her in the side of her head, leaving her in a coma.
