Pedestrian zone the part of the part of the Stanford campus that is heavily traffic controlled with stationary and automated (retractable) bollards so that only University vehicles (staff golf carts, some service vehicles and the Marguerite Shuttles) are allowed. This zone corresponds closely to where the academic buildings are concentrated. It shows up as the yellow area on the online Stanford campus map.
