Sri Laxmi Ranganatha Swamy Temple is a pre-historical temple and the deity was self incarnated with Laxmi and Gaja vahana on the row of hillocks. As per revenue records, the row of hillocks is named after Ranganayakula Gutta and clearly symbled in the year 1929 of Khammam village map.
Sri.Sri Pedda Jeeyar Swami(Grand father of chinna jeeyar swami) donated 1st donation to construct the Temple.
This is one and only Ranganatha Swamy Temple in Khammam District.
