The Shores Building houses the College of Information and the Goldstein Library.

Named after Louis Shores.

Shores was built in 1981. It was built in somewhat of an updated style of the Housewright Music Building, which was built two years before this one.

It replaced an old dormitory called Magnolia Hall.

  • Sad to see my freshman dorm (Magnolia Hall) is gone. It was far from the prettiest on campus, but it was comfortable and incredibly well built. Lots of happy memories of it and the giant pecan trees.
