Private research center and library for Chinese literature which is a is a leading resource for Asian Studies in the southeastern United States. Bequeathed by Sarasota resident Elling Eide, the 72-acre waterfront preserve brings together Old Florida and new modern architecture. Sarasota architect Guy Peterson designed the Center’s research library in 2016, which shares the landscape with a rich assortment of native and exotic plants.
