Cape Meares state park is the home of Oregon's shortest lighthouse. The lighthouse is open during summer season, and you can go up to the top and see the actual light that was used. Very helpful volunteers, also trails to the Octopus tree, and old-growth Sitka spruce with unusual branches. Excellent ocean views. No charge to enter park.
