An area of Medieval or later tinworking earthworks recorded on Grumble Common. An archaeological field survey in 1985 found the earthworks covering an area of 3 hectares comprising long linear openworks between 10-16 metres wide. A shaft 8 metres in diameter was recorded within the northern area of the site.
