John Chisum's South Springs Ranch.

Chisum was a cattle baron and large land holder in New Mexico during the mid 1800s. He was a central figure in the so-called Lincoln County war, along with William Bonney (Billy the Kid) and Pat Garrett.

This is the site of his ranch house, having been replaced during the late 1800s.
