The oldest surviving police station in Chicago, now the headquarters of the University of Illinois at Chicago Police. Built in 1888, it is known to the world since the "Hill Street Blues" opening sequence was filmed here, as well as some interior shots. It is on the National Register of Historic Places.

  • helpfull info, ive wondered where those wonderfull opening shots were filmed for some time,i knew the dan ryan was close by,looked on HSB web site ,gave morgan and 14th street,but this is great i will now sleep easy now,
