This mixed-use building opened 2018 (student housing residential with retail below, though there is no retail as of this writing). Prior to construction this was the home of a bank built in the mid-1960s as University National Bank, which became First American Bank in the 1990s, Citibank in the mid-2000s, and finally BB&T in 2014 before being torn down just two years later for redevelopment. The bank also featured adjacent office space that had been empty for many years prior. When the building was finished in 2018, BB&T moved back in.
