Battle of Goose Green

The Battle of Goose Green (May 28th, 1982) was an engagement of the Falklands War between British and Argentinian forces. While the hamlet of Goose Green had little strategic value to the overall aim of recapturing the capital Stanley, it's proximity to the British beachhead at San Carlos and the significant amount of Argentinian forces based there could not be ignored.
