Vuelta de Obligado (English) Historical Site 1845

At this turn of the Parana River in the month of November of 1845 coastal batteries opened fire against the coalition of French and British Vessels. This vessels were equiped with the most advance technology of the time. They were considered as agresive invadors by the Governor of Buenos Aires Don Juan Manuel de Rosas y Lopez Osornio
