Mare Harbour is a small settlement on East Falkland Island located along the North shore of Choiseul Sound which is home to the seaport section of RAF Mount Pleasant. As the primary deep-water port facility for British Military Forces on the Falkland Islands, Mare Harbour hosts the majority of Royal Navy and Royal Fleet Auxiliary ships assigned to South Atlantic Tasking.
