This is the campus of a company that provides "scientific services on a global basis with a focus on petroleum geochemistry, surface geochemical exploration, oil spill response, oceanographic surveys, environmental chemistry, and multi-disciplinary environmental assessments". Originally, it was just a warehouse that they leased on private property, but later the whole company moved here.
