Seasonal Attractions for Halloween and winter holiday season. The Halloween attraction will celebrate its 20th season in 2012 and contains numerous attractions. A 1 mile hayride thats changes theme every year; a corn maze; 6 haunted houses, The Root Cellar, The Lunar Motel, Gluttons Slaughter House, Nightshade Green House, The Feeding, and Dahlia Bloods mansion; The Wicked gardens; a stage with sideshows, magicians, and other performers; 5 themed gift shops;and 4 eateries.
Each attraction is detailed and themed by professional carpenters and artisans year round to a cinematic and broadway theater level.This level of detail has gained them world wide recognition and awards from industry leaders and publications, as well as legions of dedicated customers and fans.
NBC, CBS, The Food Network, Comedy Central, The Travel Channel, Emeril Live, The Weather Channel, and numerous print publications frequently us the attractions and location for holiday specials, back drops, and news reports.
A Frosty Fest is a newer winter Holiday attraction in its 5th year that utilizes the hayride ( which you can drive your car or ride a wagon on) to display large light display, some of which are 40' tall and 50' long. The property is rethemed to be non-scary, the midway hosts holidat gift shops as well as holiday houses with a large train for children to climb upon. The Garden area hosts Dancing Christmas trees and 2 stages for different Elf shows of comedy and magic. The North Pole with Santa is also in this area. One of the Haunted Houses is re decorated into Santa's Magical mansion.
There were spring themed gift shops years ago, but they have been discontinued due to a lack of public interest.
Bark for Life Relay an American Cancer Society event is hosted by Headless Horseman which allows the use of its property for the day in the spring.
The property is not open to the public when attractions aren't open, and has numerous private homes as well as security cameras throughout. Please respect their privacy.
