A 467-acre former Army fort with a museum, lighthouse and sweeping views of Admiralty Inlet. A massive concrete fortress hidden from enemy view, features two historic guns still in place. A great adventure for kids who can explore the maze of rooms and corridors. Summer-long kite flying activities and picnics on an expansive parade-field. RV camping next to the ferry terminal.

  • I love fort Casey, a wonderful placeto take kids on the weekend to run around and play soldier, acres of land and cement to run, climb and jump off of (only jump off things that are safe to jump off of though.
