 office building, commercial building

6-story office/commercial building completed in 1883. It is clad in limestone above a modernized ground floor with concrete end piers, glass double-doors at the north end, and a plate-glass storefronts, also with glass double-doors. A band course with an egg-and-dart molding caps the ground floor. The upper floors have four bays with large, plate-glass windows. Slightly-projecting, fluted piers separate the bays, and the spandrel panels are carved with three rosettes, a garland below the central rosette, narrow urns dividing the rosettes, foliate ornament around the outer rosettes, and wider urns at the ends. The piers have Corinthian capitals at the 5th floor, which is topped by a modillioned stone cornice with a balustrade above it. The 6th floor is set back behind the balustrade and a landscaped terrace. The ground floor is occupied by Ben Soleimani home goods.
