6-story modernist mercantile building completed in 1967. It is clad in a bronze-tinted glass curtain wall framed by brown polished granite end piers, above a black metal-and-glass ground floor. There is a wide, central glass door, with show-windows on either side. The entrance and show-windows are topped by blue canvas canopies, and there is a black sign band above the ground floor with silver metal lettering reading "ROSS EXCHANGE".

Ross Precious Metal is one of the largest refiners in New York City's diamond district - purchasing, refining and assaying all forms of gold, silver, sweeps, platinum and palladium. The company was founded in 1974.
