Former GM plant for making many stamped automotive assemblies. Guide Lamp started out making headlights (guide lamps) and progressed to other stamped metal parts. Becoming a division of GM it made all manner of firearms during WW2 such as the M3 Grease Gun and FP-45 Liberator. Spun-off as a separate company again in 2001, Guide ultimately closed in 2007. The plant was demolished sometime after.
