For a number of years (after a barbecue place was here), this was a branch of the "Souper Salad" chain, which opened in the 1990s but never really updated until its closure in 2012. Afterwards, it was extensively remodeled into a new Italian/California fusion restaurant called Napa Flats (owned by the people behind Grub Burger Bar), which featured a large outdoor patio.
